The whole scene where Alice manipulates Bella about the wedding with the whole "do you love me?" line totally ticks me off in Eclipse. So many people bash Jacob for his manipulations of Bella (myself included) but so few seem to acknowledge that Alice is just as bad! Edward and Charlie both have their moments, as well, though not to the extent of Alice and Jacob. Since Elizabeth is so much stronger than Bella, I was really hoping to see her turn it around on Alice - something like, "Of course I love you Alice, but do you love me? Because if you did, you wouldn't try to manipulate me - to force me into doing something I do not want by using my love for you as a weapon against me." Now THAT I'd love to see Alice try to get around. Plus, since Elizabeth had read the scene in the books, she was able to recognize Alice's performance. It is sooo much easier to resist ploys like this one when you know it is all just an act on the other person's part meant to make you do what they want. There is nothing cute about a manipulator! [Also, I don't think Alice could push Bella's date back because I imagine Bella really wants Renesmee now that she has read about her. If she pushed the wedding to December, she couldn't have that particular child.]

Just a quick note (you've probably already been told this, but I don't care to scan nearly 2000 reviews to check)... Edward and Bella were married on August 13th. I noticed in an earlier chapter as well as in this one that you were giving July as the month for their marriage. My parents were also married on August 13th (though in 1960 rather than 2006), so it is a date that sticks out in my head. ;)

Did you purposely change Alice's origin? Because her father murders her mother, marries someone else, and dumps her on the asylum's doorstep when she told him that she would go to the police and tell them that he killed her mother. There's also the fact that her head was shaved due to electroshock therapy and she most likely lost her memories because her brain had been fried.

One of the best twist on twilight I have ever read in a long time

Kind of ruined it for when whenGabriel killed that human in front of Elizabeth.

I actually rather like Jane but if you killed her off I can only imagine what you would have written her as and so I'll ignore it and forever remember to use hairspray and a lighter when walking late at night... in Twilight... and why has no one thought of that before?

It's nice that she's not immediately using the cash. Some people like to take the easy way out, see.

I've been browsing for a good 3 hours for a good story and this, this I think will keep me reading for a long time. Which is good, and a relief. I was getting tired of browsing without finding anything to hold my interest for more than two paragraphs! ;)
