I didn’t realize how much I wanted this conversation between Spock and Kirk. The characterizations were extremely on point, and Spock was just adorable (especially when speaking about Uhura). Well done!

Hilarious. Spock and Kirk were just perfectly in character, and Spock's calm replies to Kirk's badgering were very funny. Kirk's fascination with their relationship is endearing, and even slightly wistful.

I loved the reference to Bones - I always forget that actually the chief medical officer has the power to order the captain to stand down if it's in their medical interest (reminds me of Dr Crusher blackmailing Picard to make him take a holiday).

Trully amazing fanfiction. You captured both Kirk/Spock voices wonderfully and the dialogs are exceptional and deep and at times funny. I loved how Kirk understands at the end (Even if he doesn't necessarily knows the 'why') that what Spock/Uhura have is special and I love the paralels you make between the relationships. Very delicate use of Spock's mother inside the story and how it connects with Uhura. And the end was ideal, with wit and so so in character.

Girl, girl, GIRL! This is like, just a straight continuation of the movie. It's like the movie stopped and then this fic landed. Seamless characterization, compelling storytelling, nice continuity with the film... Keep this up and JJ Abrams may just sign you up for the team. Again, you could use the services of a beta, but a good story is a good story and emerges despite a typo or two.

Fave lines:
*The paragraph that begins, "There! Kirk thought, at last: an almost imperceptible..." I love the movement of that scene.
*"He folded his hands in front of him and took a breath: "Shall I begin with physical attributes? She finds many of them quite pleasing." I love how he's fumbling at guy talk.
*I love your Jim. So knavish, and a cad, and a loves getting a rise out of Spock. - "You know, I hear you rationalizing and redirecting, but what I don't hear is a flat denial, which leads me to the logical conclusion that you, Professor Spock, acted in direct violation of… hell, all kinds of Starfleet Academy protocol!"

This fic is going in favorites and it's a sure re-read.
