Aw, that was so cute! I loved Daisuke playing chauffeur and taking Iori all over town to find Jou. It was also nice to see Iori act like a kid. He's so often mature, but he *is* only nine years old, and fighting the Kaiser would stress anyone out. His reaction to his tooth falling out was SO cute.

LOL at Hikari. I want to know who she was talking about. The irony is, I thought that little bit was very IC for 02 Hikari. She really was way more of a typical 10-year-old girl than in season 01.

And LOL at Takeru! Good thought process, not so good idea. And then he ends up "muttering unmentionables" about the Tailmon. Hehe. My mental image was of panties dropping out of his mouth. XD He probably feels that way...

It was also perfectly in character for Iori to prefer Jou over Taichi (or even Daisuke and Takeru) for reassurance/tooth replacement. He's both a doctor's kid as well as the original owner of the Reliability crest. I don't know if this fic takes place before or after Iori gets the Reliability egg, but even if he doesn't have it yet, he and Jou have similar temperaments and Iori definitely seems to trust him a lot.
