I read this years ago and visited it again as an adult. This story resonated with me in a way that had me questioning what it truly means to be in a healthy relationship. As someone who has only ever been in dysfunctional relationships (family, friends, romance), this story planted the seed that eventually led to me being able to put boundaries on my empathy in order to protect my own boundaries. Thank you.

I can't believe after everything u picked Calvin I stuck through because I thought in the end chase would pull through... I loved this story tell the last chapter it broke my heart:(

That's literally all I have to say, ahah. I know this is quite an old writing, but it's absolutely wonderful. I cried...oops, ahaha! Chase is one of my favorite characters of all time, so this was like a breath of fresh air...and then being punched in the gut and all the air goes loose...and then another breath, and it sort of just repeated like that until I was completely out of breath and crying! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful work, and it's absolutely inspired me to write a long-term Harvest Moon fic :) Thanks for a beautiful read!

First off, this is one of the best HM fics I've read so thank you THANK YOU! Honestly, Luke is my favorite bachelor so me reading a Chase/Hikari(Molly)/Calvin seems a little far-fetched but recently I've been more engrossed in Chase's character and I like him a lot more. He's more than a "jerk"-and thank you for writing him that way. Too many times to writers-and fans in general I would say-portray his character in a weird or negative light. They don't seem to hit the balance like you did. However, the only problem I had with Chase was how violent he was, I felt it a was a little too over the top. That didn't deter me away from the whole story though-and in a sense I was still rooting for him.

Throughout this story, I was one of the few people rooting for Calvin and I'm happy to see that you not only wrote an epilogue for him, but remained true to his character making this the best Calvin-and possibly romance interest-I've read about. He's not perfect...he's human...and he cares. It's real and it does make more sense like you stated yourself. Although I sort of switched sides when he left, I still liked the possibility of him coming back. I kind of felt like he was going to/was doing a better job of caring for Holly than Chase and that was kind of nagging at me. The epilogue for him is nice, but I agree with another review who said that it felt a bit forced-after all with the baby you would have thought it would have been a while before she wanted to be in another relationship like that.

Despite this, you've woven yourself one heck of tale. Thanks for sharing with us. I look forward to more.

I really enjoy reading this story though :)

I've averaged about 4-5 hours sleep a night reading this. By far, you have the BEST fan-fic of Chase & Holly. I have to admit, I'm an avid Chase supporter - the moment I skipped a few sentences to see Calvin's name, I was instantly enraged. That being said, I'm ecstatic that you used the best ending for last. (;

I'll most definitely be keeping an eye on your other works. Your writing captivates me, egging me on for just "one more chapter". Which turns into two, then three, etc. I am happy to hear that Holly and Chase will be given the opportunity to have a child. I think they deserve it after everything they've been through.

I am so glad I came to this story only after completion. I would have been left on edge no doubt for days.

It was beautiful and twisted at the same time. The whole fairy tale aspect with the sprites and goddess were really brought to life. Loved that...I too wanted to cry when she lost her ability to see Finn.

The whole Chase/Calvin escapade had me torn. One of them had to make a move. Both endings were brilliant, although I liked the second better...but not because I necessarily liked Chase better. Somebody as unhappy as Chase had to have a somewhat happy ending. I just hated to see him completely miserable, and Calvin kind of just went with the flow.

So...

The story had me entranced. I laughed and I pondered. It was captivating. Thanks for a great story!

Honestly, I was a Chase/Holly fan so I was really pissed when you made her go with Calvin. Actually, I wouldn't have minded but Holly just seemed too... willing, I guess. I mean two years plus a baby with someone else and she forgets all of that in just one night. It's a bit unrealistic so I thought that she should have resisted or at least took more time to get back together. When you explained why it wouldn't have worked out with Chase though, it took me a while to get over my stubbornness and admit that you were right. It would have been more of an obligatory relationship than a romantic one. Other than the rushed get-together with Calvin, I think it was a beautiful story and I never expected the ending at all. You truly are cruel to us readers ;)
