This is great. I was really dissatisfied with how it played out in the show, too. I mean they really sliced into Sam's arms and the blood was pouring out. Then the next thing Dean wraps some rags around them and he's totally fine. Nope. This version is way better. xo

Good story. Yeah, you're right. He was hurt pretty bad. Unlikely he'd have just gotten bandaged and said, oh yeah, I'm good. Tried, maybe, yes. :)

Sorry, I'm late with reviews again. Awesome story as usual.

Since everybody else covered so well the severely slit arms and wrists immediate needing medical attention and not a motel "patch up", I'll address other points.

I love the way you acknowledge how Sam's feelings of responsibility toward Dean got him into this bloodsucking mess in the first place and although his kept his habit secret (for one whole episode ) from Dean he wasn't going to apologize for it. This was his Season 3 attitude. Keep Dean safe no matter what the cost to his own soul. And you right now to even attempt to fix the boys.

Looking forward to reading your second sequel to "Puissance" - after the finale ;).

Awesome job with this fic! I agree 100% that there was NO WAY Sam was well enough to be walking around when they burned Adam's corpse. Good job with the hospital part as well, especially adding in the suicide part. The suicide watch was actually why I didn't write a fic like yours, where they went to the hospital, because I'm not very good at getting characters out of such situations without being cliche and using some kind of deus-ex-machina. Hopefully the next episode will also give us some material to work with!

this was great! I kept waiting while I was watching the episode for Sam's blood to do something, cause they focused on the blood dripping into the bowl, so I am very happy to see a story detailing what happened after Dean killed the ghouls. This story was just perfect!
