Woulda been nice if Astro met Tobio. I got this idea. Tobio pops up somehow alive. I see Astro and Tobio bonding as bros. I see Tobio risking life and limb for Astro, saying on one point 'He's more than a machine... he;s a peson', showing he accepts for the soul than the body. Rino I can picture would smirk coz he sees robots as people due to how he was raised among them and saw through their POV.

No, Astro is not too OOC. In fact, this is the only fanfic in this entire category that I was willing to read BECAUSE you don't follow the English version Astro (a smart-talking, mischeivous brat who doesn't follow the rules and has KUH-KOR-OH ZOMGGG!oen!). you used the Japanese version for mostly everything. I have one question, though; why'd you use Ochanomizu and Uran's English names? For the hell of it, or what?

Thankyou for not writing a fangirly FF based on that god-awful fake american shit movie, or the English version of the 2003 anime, or some "what if" thing with this "Cora" emo chick I hear so much about.

Tobio sounds like a sweet boy.

Here's some ideas:

Tobio can be cloned by a potty scientist who is experimenting on cloning. He can befriend Astro, Zoran, Rino, Pluto and Atlas.

There can be a crossover between Astro Boy and Jungle Emperor Leo. It can be a sequel involving Tobio. And Earth-Mother, the Mammoth-Guardian of Mount Moon, can be involved.

I always thought there was unfinished business between those two. I'm even thinking of writing a fanfic myself about it. It might be similar to yours, but if it goes as planned, it will turn out quite different, mostly.

Astro/Tobio wasn't OOC in the least.

One thing though:

At the end of the final episode, where Dr. O'Shay announced the rights of robots to the world, or at least after Astro/Tobio regained his memories as Astro, I think he also retained/recovered his memory as Tobio as well.

The only lesson Tenma never learned while raising Astro/Tobio: HE NEVER LISTENS TO ASTRO/TOBIO!

A good parent does everything he/she can to make his/her child happy. A GREAT parent listens to his/her child on what the child wants to do a better job of making the child happy.

O'Shay learned that VERY early on in raising Astro/Tobio, so he wins the 'better' father award. However, Tenma is still Astro/Tobio's father no matter how you look at it.

It took until the last episode to reveal what happened that forced Tenma to shut down Tobio all those years(?) ago.

nice series in general, though some episodes could use a bit of work.

LOVED the return of Atlas and Pluto in Robotonia, even more so when they sided with Astro because of how much they respect him (which is even more than their respect for the Blue Knight).
