Always good to have a little more B/B interaction, especially when we don't get much in the episode. Good B/B banter, as always. (Loved the "Since when are you the Mistress of Feelings?" line.) I also always love it when Booth affirms the progress that she's made regarding expressing her emotions, in addition to him only thinly-veiling how much he enjoys spending time with her (by making an effort here to seek her out at home). Also, the extra freebie per case (and Brennan's reaction to receiving them) was fun.

I had to re-watch the episode just now to get the "rescue from the rapids" reference, but I really like it and how Brennan replied to it, now that I've refreshed my memory.

You just can't write a bad fic, can you? Makes me sick. ;-)

You are good. That was almost spot on to the deeted scene from that episode. I just got my DVDs and that was what they were discussing. The only addition was they were celebrating closing the case with food.

Nicely done! You capture the Booth/Brennan dynamic perfectly. Plus you know how to write dialogue without overdoing it. And lookie there, punctuation is correct, too. You CARE about how it looks. How wonderful!

oh,t his is perfect. i'm going to imagine this was the closing b&b scene [because like booth perfectly said, they didn't have enough time this case hehe] for the episode. the mention of her feelings, her reaction to that comment, the re-completion of the salt & pepper set, metnioning the freebies comment was GOLD since cam and bones had struck a deal and the rapids comment. that comment is one of my favorites from bones. :)

I cannot tell you how much better I feel having read this. I was kind of angry at this episode, even though it was better than TBTF. I think I just have too much anger held inside at the discontinuous writers!

Sorry, back to the review! I loved it! If the writers just added this little scene, I think it would have made the episode 1233423543756713658745 times better.
