It's nice to just read a sweet friend-fic. Especially one so well written! A bit ago, before I started reading this, I was gross-ugly-sobbing over George, Annie, Mitchell, Nina and baby Eve. I do that some times. This fic made me feel better. :) Thanks.

So love this piece. I'm a sucker for Mitchell being able to handle George's star of David so I loved the evolution you had from when he first saw it, till the end.

I really enjoyed this. You wrote George without making him seem a wimp or an idiot. The idea of him helping an old lady with her shopping fitted perfectly. Liked the way you gave a slow burn to the events between George getting beaten by the vampires and George & Mitchell becoming friends. I liked the ending too; one because it neatly, without being maudlin, that they were now friends and two that you didn't feel obliged to end with either them moving in together or deciding to. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

What a lovely and thoroughly charming story! It's so hard to find good stories for this fandom, what with it being so new and tiny, I was incredibly happy to find this one! Thank you for writing it. It fits the tone of the show really well: there are sad bits and philosophical bits, but overall it's fun and life-affirming. Lovely!
