I was quite stunned and pleased when I went messing around in the cars crosover section of fan fiction and saw this. I'd read the frist but I didn't know there was a squeal. It was fun, energetic, full of the right level of suspense and drama as well as having the humor of both a cars movie and the G1 transformers. The way you wrote the cybertonian bodies of each resident was clever and I like how you kept everyone's spark the same place. I loved Lizzie and her stinging bumper slap, it was perfect for her.
And the DRH, wow, they were a nasty bit of work.
I know you said there wouldn't be a third instalment and I understand why but I sure do wish there was one.
Anyway, loved it every step of the way and thank you for an amazing story

Well, we got the wedding after all. I was wondering if that was still going to happen.

I find it interesting that the more recent government mistrust of the Autobots made its way into this largely G1 feeling story. It does make for more interesting storytelling, though and I expect the 'bots find it a LOT easier to hide on a planet of sentient machines than they do on our Earth. So, is it a nod to our immigrant tradition that the President of the US is a Mercedes? I thought he might be a Caddy or a Lincoln Town Car.

I also thought it was a fun touch that the Autobots can save badly injured cars, but only by converting them into Autobots. There must be something tricky about just fixing them, as there would be for Ratchet to try and fix a human (recent developments in TF:Prime notwithstanding), so everyone gets the Autobot Spike treatment.

Nice conclusion and I agree that you have done the idea justice. Unless you get some awesome new idea I think you've acquitted yourself very well. Thanks for writing and sharing!
