Wow, such an original story! I liked the idea very much! I love this Allen too :) But somehow this ending... dissapointed me. It was kind of rushed. Was Allen the ghost or not? Did he really live so long and if yes why could he leave the town? You left too many unanswered questions. But I loved the story anyway!

So I totally could have seen it where Kanda doesn't turn back after there argument. And then several (like 10 or 20) years later he goes back to the town to find Allen in the same form he left him, then understanding what Allen had told him.

But thats just me. I like how your story ended, it was happier than my ending. _

I loved the beginning, but the ending sorta sucked. If it was only himself that was holding him there, why did he have all the memories, and he seems to have lived a really long time too. The ending killed it for me, but I love the rest of it.

i think you have a interesting plot going on here...i think it would have been awesome if it was a series of chapters instead of a oneshot...but neverhtless it was a pretty good story...and i just melted when Kanda came back for Allen...kanda cannot resist allen, ne? _~
