This is about (at least) the third time i've read this story, and it seems to get better every time. Unfortunately though, it's not complete... which makes me sad. Love it, and hope you may one day finish it.

I admit to being fairly new to the Torchwood fandom - I only just started watching the show a couple of weeks ago, and in that time became so involved that I devoured the entire series, already! But, as is the problem when you watch a series so totally captivating far too quickly, I wanted more.

Thank God for fanfiction!

I'm terribly obsessed with Jack and Ianto. It just seemed like so much more was happening with them then what was being shown on the screen, and I couldn't get around wanting to -see- it. So, to the fanfiction I turned, and, for the most part, was bereft to find what I was looking for. Most of what I found was full of cliche and nowhere near the deeply layered and complicated relationship I had seen building in the show.

Ironic that it took a cat to finally reveal to me what I'd been trying to find.

This lovely story is by far the most natural, realistic development of Jack and Ianto's relationship that I have seen. It's not an easy, love-at-first-sight, thrown-together relationship. They both have to work for it, and work at keeping it, and it just feels so REAL. This feels like the Jack and Ianto that grow to become the Jack and Ianto at the end of CoE. This feels like a true vision of the scenes not shown, the reason why, when what happens happens, the ripples that follow are so devastatingly BIG.

Thank you, so much! I can't wait to read the rest of it, despite knowing that it'll have me in tears.

I LOVE the idea of having it in Moses' perspective (and having Ianto keep the cat, as we never really end up knowing what happens to it show-wise - I've not read the books or listened to any of the radio plays, so I wouldnt presume to know there - so it's a wonderful idea) It's absolutely amazing; thanks.
