Suzanne chapter 1 . 2/5/2012
"Did he draw the line for me? At first, I thought he did, because he was attracted. Now, I think – I think he drew it for me. Because he’s not."

Again, so well done!

Hi H,

I liked this epi but didn't love it...but I loved stoned Booth! I don't get how he can handle his alcohol but not medication?

As per usual Heather, I am a puddled wad of my former self after reading this FIC!

*Please. Give me a chance,Temperance. Please.* and *When was the last time you really let yourself be touched...* Let me touch you...just,GUHHH!

Thanks so much for this piece,

Cindy

BBSHIPPER1 chapter 1 . 11/1/2009
See now.. these short ones are growing on me...have the same silly grin and mushhy insides much like when I read your Panhandle one...

Booth being sensitive, reading Bones and slowly making his way through all her insecurities and crap to reach her and make here aware that she needs him and its not a bad thing to need someone...I love it
cmf227 chapter 1 . 9/19/2009
Of course he found her. He wouldn't be Booth if he didn't. So wonderful when he finally let her in. And interesting to get into Brennan's head, and see her thoughts at the end of the episode. Great job.
aliasjems chapter 1 . 6/26/2009
Beautiful! Just when I think you write Booth best you nail an emotional Brennan fic. This is beautiful - you capture he inner fears so well. And Booth reads her - literally reads her mind.

When he finds her at her mothers grave it reminded me of Alias when Vaughn find Sydney at the train station. :)

Beautiful!

Lizicia chapter 1 . 2/26/2009
I feel that this season's episodes are all gradually building up some sort of grande finale because we keep getting these BB moments in every single episode. It's like getting bits and bits but they always stop at the exact moment which leaves me a bit angry as well. Yet, the last episode left me a bit unsatisfied because the ending could've and should've been so much different. Your interpretation of a new ending is very much to the spot and I especially think that "One heart, Bones. One heart." is, in essence what Bones and Booth are about. A favourite story, definitely.

mumrulz chapter 1 . 2/22/2009
Another one!

You are truly spoiling us. :-)

**A bit angst-y,

...you're lucky that I like your interpretation of angst. lol. There are not too many fics that have angst in their 'genre,' that I will read .

I hated the ending of this episode. Every week - or every 2nd or 3rd week as has been the case lately - I look forward to the last few minutes of the episode...look forward to a pure B&B moment...the last thing I want is to see is this end scene shared with Perotta. What made the writers think that we would like to see a perfect' B&B moment' opportunity spoiled by her, making a move on Booth.

I really do wish that the writers would 'put out there' any future storylines & then come back here & read the fics posted...give them more of an idea of what makes the viewing public happy. :-)

I really didn't didn't like Perotta...from the very first moment that I read the sides! By the time the episode ended, I liked her even less. I am sure that she knew that there were feelings between B&B...especially after Booths little vicodin fuelled speech & then her comment to Brennan...& yet she still had the audacity to turn up uninvited (well let's hope so) to Booth's home, with a home cooked meal no less - "a way to a man's heart is through his stomach", fresh on her mind - hoping for, goodness knows what! gr.

When will Brennan learn to stay & fight for her man...& not step side *shakes head despairingly*. I want jealousy from her...I want her eyes to turn green.

But having said that...you captured the characters perfectly...yet again! :-)

As always, loved your version...I like seeing Brennan showing emotion...any emotion. My heart broke for Brennan...thinking that Booth & Perotta are perfectly matched, that they will get together, if they are not already. She tries so hard to ignored Booth's calls...but ends up giving in & answering...

**Did he draw the line for me? At first, I thought he did, because he was attracted. Now, I think – I think he drew it for me. Because he’s not.

...OMG...you know how to bring tears to my eyes *surreptitiously wiping a tear away*. :-(

**The words that will elicit the reaction he wants. So he can handle me. I don’t want to be handled. I don’t want to be a problem to be fixed.

...have I said that I love every word that you write?

I love the thought that Booth, despite his back, dragged himself out, to find her, to make sure that she was alright, safe...& knew where to find her.**"I looked."**...loved it!

**"You know, you’re really good at running and hiding, Bones. But I’m way better at tracking. Do you really think I won't find you if you run?"

...Love how he pre-empts everything that she is going to say...how well he knows her.

**"You notice too much."

"And you don’t notice enough."

...what can I say?...except - Perfect!

**"When was the last time you really let yourself be touched?" "Let me touch you."

...oh!...yes please! *sigh*...oh, he means Brennan...my bad!

One thing that you had in common with the episode...I really didn't like the way that you ended this ...

...it should have been more than a one-shot. :-):-):-)
