Okay, so on finished stories, I usually read to the end before reviewing (even when they're this good, because this is wonderful!)

That said, I literally laughed out loud when I read the last two sentences of this chapter. If you haven't heard already, Terrance Zdunich (Graverobber) and Darren Lynn Bousman have a new project called..."The Devil's Carnival". Three guesses who plays Lucifer (the second and third don't count). Also, Alexa Vega (Shilo) plays Wick, mistres of the Woe Maidens some of Lucifer's corrupted carnies...The irony of those sentences just filled me with glee. Thought you'd like to know...now I'm going to finish reading this gem.

I feel weird for reviewing something that ended well over two years ago, but I have to.
This is absolutely gorgeous. Just perfect in its truest form. The ending was just astondingly perfect in that sad but beautiful way these things are. Die of a broken heart, indeed...
