Very well handled. I'm more of an agnostic these days, but I was raised Episcopalian and still enjoy a good religious debate that doesn't devolve into mere dogma and other-bashing. This managed to discuss the matter without either coming down on any side of the debate or waffling; not an easy thing to do.

The way you depict the AI's "thinking" process is unrivaled. Your concept of 'soul' as something that allows you make decisions despite programming or logic or facts available is very intriguing and thought-provoking, too.
It also appeals to me very much that you've chosen the classic KR universe - I like it waaay better than the 2k8-verse)))

like you I am a Christian, and sometimes I read the bible... it is full of metaphors...well it is a old book written by simple people and on a simple language!

Awesome fic, I was wondering about Kitt's possible "problems" with the Bible. Also, as a Christian myself, it's nice to read some fics by other Christians. Keep up the good work!
