Very good. Nice ending. Thanks for w.
Honesty chapter 1 . 6/12/2018
This is how Barbara and Ironside began their story. She was assigned to him and got next to him to find his inner teddy bear personality. I enjoyed this story very much and it gave the story Barbara Who! - background as to the role Barbara played in Robert's recovery. Although Barbara has no memory she manages to conjure up Robert's interest in her as a person he would like to date. This is where we see them in the video Barbara Who.

Good writing - Write more.

This story is pure, DYNOMITE! So, when would it possibly occur for Ironside to cross paths with J.J. Evans in a "GOOD TIMES"/ "IRONSIDE crossover as Ironside tracks down a bail jumping suspect to Chicago, and while Mark combs through the projects, he drops in on his Aunt Florida Evans just after her having to return from Arizona for Thelma's wedding to Keith Anderson?

Just re-read this wonderful story. Especially loved this:

"...and I don't think he'd tolerate depression unless it helped solving crimes."

(...and even coming from my favourite character :-))

Please, please write another Ironside-story! Please!
Blindbadger chapter 1 . 11/5/2010
Hello there,

I really like your style of writing and you have Robert T Ironside in the Pilot episode utterly down pat. I loved the little scene with Ed Brown, where the most moving scene required no words at all; Ed moving to the bed and placing his hand on Ironside's shoulder. Lovely.

I loved Ed/Don and Ironside's/Ray's friendship onscreen, the little scenes, such as Ironside in a cab with Mark makign sure the Ed left the station pretty much intact at the end of the "Nightmare"(?) episode.

Also, I very much enjoyed Nurse Barbara Jones' reply of "Barabra Jones and I already know who the flaming hell you are." LOL!

Aaanyay, I hope you write more

Take care

Della

I love this! I used to watch this show, too (does that date me?). You seem to have Ironsides' character done even to his favorite "cuss" word. You showed his gruff exterior and yes, even his marshmallow inside. Thanks for writing this!

I also enjoyed watching Ironside all those years ago. And you have brought him back so wonderfully. Thank you.

I am a huge fan of all things Ironside and I loved, loved loved this..its a whole side of Ironside's character that we rarely get a glimpse of and so when we do it's very poignant.

I hope you write more! xx
Sealgirl chapter 1 . 1/14/2009
Hi Mom!

Sorry for the anonymity, but it seems I'm only allowed one review per chapter, and I didn't express my liking of this fic quite enough last time :)

This is a wonderful look into the most important event in Ironside's life - and it was great to see it fleshed out into a proper piece. I loved Barbara's interaction with both the Chief and Ed, and Sister Agatha as well.

Well done on a great fic!

*enjoys, lots, for fish*

Interesting how things have changed, isn't it. I recently saw the Ironside pilot on TV - maybe 3 months ago.

Nice work.

At the moment, I'm just too full of *squee* to be coherent. But I will be back when rationality returns.

Mom,

I'm so glad to see a new story from you. Are you playing hooky from your real work? Nevermind! We're always glad to read what you're writing. I'm somewhat familiar with this show, and it's always nice to be introduced to new fandoms. Hope all is well!
