Rereading this story again and I actually slightly felt bad for Lois here. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

What I do know however, is that rereading your older stories makes me wish you were still actively writing. Sigh. Life. lol.

I truly loved the story, and if possible I'd like to read the adult version.

Sm’s reaction to Lois’s death was too much. He’s supposed to love dianna and married to her but he still sounded pissed that dianna supposedly killed Lois. He couldn’t look at her or talk to her for a while. That’s a wrong thing to do if you loved her. Just a terrible way to treat your wife , your supposed love. Made him look like he still loved Lois. His reaction should not have been over the top like that esp against Diana.

I really enjoy what you did with Lois. Her personality is so aggressive and annoying that I can imagine her being this easily. Wish they would have something like this in the comics about her, after all, her father is rather crazy in his hatred.

Sometimes you go overboard in using Bizarro-English. I've never had cable so I'm not familiar with all of the JL/JLU episodes. I can understand, to a point, converting LL-centered episodes into SMWW stories but I think that maybe you have an overreliance on them. I do like SMWW & I believe that BMWW is incredibly stupid.

Was the Ruby Spears version of Superman on cable because I've never had cable tv. Also very late in 1988 I was overseas untll mid-1991. I'm completely mystified.

Kal is much more like the latest (2019) rechargable batteries in that they can hold a charge for a far longer time. Or should I say Kryptonian rechargable batteries?

You constantly use Bizarro-English. It's very frustrating especially when I have no idea what you've said. You need someone to "clean up" what you've written even at this late date.

Why does this chapter have elements of the JL/JLU cartoon? Correction for Steve Trevor's age: between WW I & WW II the US Army promoted everyone with EXTREME slowness, meaning that by January 1942 Steve could easily have been a 36 year-old Army Air Corps Captain. Yes, promotions did start picking up fast (look up actor Jimmy Stewart). The US Army had no intel agents until the OSS was established. When this cartoon episode was broadcast it's more likely that Steve may have been between 88 to 95 in retirement. I can't guarantee that but it's a bit more logical. I also have TREMENDOUS doubt that the Air Corps would have released Steve to active field agent status. If Steve was retconned as Infantry then all bets are off. Writer's have to be SUPER careful when they mix in actual or fictionalized military history otherwise you just piss-off us real G.I.'s.

So far it seems to appear that you might have a few minor grammar issues. Having said that why do you have words bracketed by asterisks? I've seen this in several other stories by you.
