Hmm, i reviewed this morning..meh i'll do it aagain *loves you that much* Skyfire/starscream is one of my favourite pairings and you wrote it wonderfully. The flash backs were integrated masterfully. Hope you write another soon.

Hm. I'm no good at these reviews, but I wanted to say I enjoyed the fic. It's haunting and I'm really not a Starscream fangirl, but I really feel for him here.

I had to reread this as I couldn't figure out at first what promise he broke, but then I did find it. But even if he said he wouldn't go back, just before that he said he wouldn't as long as Skyfire was still there. Once Skyfire was killed by Megatron, that promise was negated, so one could say that he didn't break his promise as Megatron's actions cancelled it out. If Megatron hadn't showed up and killed Skyfire while trying to get Starscream, he probably would have stayed away from the Decepticons. Now, Starscream has a reason to go after Megatron. Sad little story and nicely done.
