Nice flow and I like the dialog. On a purely personal note I am generally not fond of first person narrative. I feel it limits the scope and can only give one pov.

I liked it... especially Jayne's response when River asks what kind of story. That rings true. The bit after that... I'm not sure but its sweet anyway. This has some potential. :)
