Well written, sweet, and spellbinding. I was engrossed from the beginning. Though I feel bad for Vaan having to bear those scars but Balthier doesn't seem to mind.

Balthier's dialogue was spot on but I love the little twist in his character after realizing he fancies Vaan and his worry over the boy. His line about self-control and Vaan taking that away was so in character in the change it portrayed in him.

I love the end. Vaan's embarrassment and Balthier's teasing is too amusing. I wish there was more. I'd really like to see a sequel if you ever write one. I say it certainly deserves one. You're very talented.

Great story, altrough I wouldn't call it M-rated, that's for sure... I was just wondering regarding the deal balthier did with the sandpeople, flesh for flesh... what did happened there? Didn't caught that..

I'm more than happy that I found a good BalVaan fic :D Everyone was in character and the storyline was interesting. Even though this was kinda long for a oneshot the whole thing still worked, you know :D
