   GlassMazeGazer chapter 1 . 3/21 I like this idea so much more than the TB plot line. I am bothered by Eric using glamour to allow him to have sex with and drink from Sookie though. It smacks too much of rape just as if she’d been roofied by a human rapist. I get that in both TB & SVM some, maybe even many, vampires do that for feeding and taking advantage of the available warm body for sex, but Eric characters always seem to be too proud of their appeal & prowess to have to resort to that trick. Glamouring after the fact to cover his tracks would fit his character, just not forcing himself on someone sexually. Still, much preferable to episode after episode of watching creepy Bill abuse Sookie, whine, throw tantrums, & claim her as ‘His’ while being the perfect example of someone with ‘little dog’/‘little man’ syndrome. ACK! |
