I don't often read AU stories, but I did finish this one because I found it rather interesting. Thanks for the story. Temari being a goddess definitely was a treat. It suits her very much, in my opinion.

The relationship between Shikamaru and Temari is what makes this story memorable. Now I realize that's a little silly because I imagine you're going, 'Well duhh, it's a ShikaTema piece." But I mean specifically the scenes with Shikamaru and Temari in the same room, kind of thing. It's almost claustrophobic when they're together. You built up their relationship perfectly in those select scenes, that it was all I needed to be on the edge of my seat wondering when the next move was going to take place.

And the scene when she left was almost heart-breaking because I honestly wasn't sure if it was going to end happily or not.

I'm glad it did, of course. Especially with the outcome of the final scene. In such few words you were able to convey just how much of a loss Temari was to Shikamaru that when she was back, you could just about feel his happiness.

Well done developing their relationship!

This is a great story, but the part where Solaris tells her it's a fake mission was a bit rushed. Plus, you could've let Gaara and Kankurou come along and find some hot Konohanites! :D
