The thing about Suzaku is that he doesn't want to atone for his father's murder, he wants to twist the results so that he was right to kill him. He can't accept his own mistakes so he keeps digging himself deeper. He can't accept that he made a mistake in trying to stop the war, so he joins Britannia. He can't accept that selling his pride and honor only lead to killing more Japanese, so refuses to join Zero and condemns all resistance to Britannia. He can't accept that he killed thousands in Europe in a misguided attempt to become Knight of One, so proposes treason to Schneizel. Or, in your fic, he can't accept that Japan was freed by Zero and everything he did was pointless in the end, so he joins Schneizel.

It's kinda the opposite to Lelouch's reaction to his own mistakes: Lelouch immediately switches gears if needed to adapt to the new situation and coldly ignores his own responsibility in creating it or his previous goals (see Euphie, the Black Knights in canon after their treason, his methods during Zero Requiem in general), while Suzaku doubles down even when what he does makes no sense anymore or goes against his vaunted principles.

Really, you have to wonder how these two were able to become friends, they're just complete opposites in everything but their damn stubbornness.

You know, when I think about it, Charles' geass is really ironic. He says he wants a world without lies, but all his power does is making people's own memories lie to them. When Geass is supposed to be about your greatest desire, that says something about his hypocrisy, don't you think?

Wait, wait, is it me or this story had change?! Its awesome and love and complete with all of it! Action, magic, and Todd, eventhough he's just there to help Kallen but his story also complete. I dont know, last tine I read its has a looong way to go but this version is far better. Love kalulu! Even Suzaku and Lelouch getting better in the end. As for C.C, Im not a fan of her but in this fic, she is bearable funny~ Thank You for the fic!

For someone as hotheaded and passionate as Kallen, she seemed to be too calm here. I think it’s quite OOC of her to be talking in that measured tone, especially around the traitorous Black knight and Suzaku.

This Todd characters abilities remind me of Griffin's from the Men in Black film series.

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea jumping right into a fic which takes place during the latter part of R2. Especially since I last watched the entirety of R2 at least 2 years ago if not 3 and don't quite remember everything. Add on to that, the fic itself is quite good and it equates to a rather irritated me.

A valiant and far happier ending that Code Geass deserves.

Good story but Kallen's plot armor[I know she's the protag but still, you didn't have to make so apparent.] and the vast stupidity of Suzaku[you made him fuck up far to much in this fic for me to believe he's worth Kallen's or Lelouch's time] is what sets me off of this fic.

Only reason I can see you having Kallen legit beat all of this characters is plot armor.
