Long time no see :D BuMpz! Way behind on your fic but like what I see so far!

Hello! Wow! This WAS a surprise! But a nice one, all the same :D How are you? It's been ages... eight months, in fact :P How's everything going? Huge congratulations on your scholarship! That's fantastic news :D You must be thrilled! Had you still got any thoughts about school in the UK? What will you study? Your vacations sound amazing :D I'm glad you had such a good time. And cool about meeting the Harry Potter actors, especially Alan Rickman! :D

Okay, this is supposed to be a review, I do realise that :P I'm very happy indeed that you decided to give us an epilogue :D And thanks for all the lovely Mac/Stella moments you included, they've been ace :D

This was a great way to end the story and it didn't feel cheesy, it felt just the right amount of niceness needed, after all the angst the poor characters have suffered. there were lots of great descriptions in here, and I love Flack's appearance, and Hawkes trailing after him :D Good to see emery put away, too! What a bad guy, but very well written. One thing I must mention is that your punctuation and grammar skills are very good! I do notice things like that :P

So much cuteness and friendship between Mac and Stella, and they hold hands, too :D So lovely! You got their relationship just right with how much they care for each other in a subtle way.

Oh, and I love the description of the clamouring reporters, and how Mac deals with them all. I love how Danny and Don were arguing as well, and Angell's comment was good fun to them. And yay for an appearance from Sid :D He's so great.

Congratulations on your acceptance AND your scholarship! Wow, that is a lot of money...too bad it will all go mostly to books, LOL! And you're not that late, SOME people haven't updated some stories on here for a couple of years. *coughs*Lily and Blue*coughs* Heehee! That is amazing that you have an autograph from Alan Rickman! Is he as nice a person that I hope he is?

Okay if you want criticism, this ended too soon. I love how Emery is going away for three life sentences and yet the reporters aren't satisfied, come on, he won't ever hurt another person! I'm just happy that the team can breathe easier and can move on with their lives. Especially Stella since this affected her and Mac the most. I LOVE how you brought Sheldon into this more because he spent most of his time in the hospital recovering. He deserved to see this through to the end and he did. LOVELY!

Now the food fight...did Don really expect to kill Danny with a roll? Maybe if he had some peas, but you had me laughing SO HARD at the look of disappointment on his face. I have to say that O'Doyles must be a regular joint for them since they weren't kicked out. Yeah I know, who would kick out the police, right? :D There is not one thing that didn't touch and move me. Thank you for sharing this with us and I hope that you have more ideas coming! :D

Don't worry about the PM, I have a lot of them I need to get to of my own. Life is good now but still it does interfere with our fun, right?

I was very, very pleased to see that you'd updated, and I had to rush home to read the chapter :) okay, I took a sneaky peek in work, but didn't read it properly as I had to write about mortgages :P

I loved the chapter! And may I say first of all, the scene between Mac and Stella at the end was perfect. not too much at all. It was just right :D I loved reading it and have read it twice already :D It was a great moment between them and perfectly in character. They deserve that hug and feeling safe together after all they've been through.

I'll try and be succinct and not leap around too much, but there was a lot I loved about this chapter!

Fantastic interrogation with Mac and Flack! Woo, AngryMac! Brilliant :D I loved it, especially him slamming his palms on the table and then the photographs, loved how Don tried to keep him cool also. You have such great descriptions of them, such as Mac being stone-faced and Flack scoffing. I also loved Emery! He's a brilliant character, very believabe and exactly the sort to irk and infuriate Mac, especially with his sarcasm and gestures like his hand over his heart, and the gibes he makes about Sheldon and Stella. Grr, I was glad he was taken away. And Mac got to say the title of the story! Excellent :D

Loved sid and Danny! And Mrs H was mentioned! That was so cute. i hope Sid did get to eat some dinner. That was an interesting little side-story, too about the pile-up on the FDR.

Such a sweet scene with Stella and the other guys, I had to grin at her waking up and they're all waiting for her! That was cute :D But my favourite bit of all is Mac arriving and hugging her just before she falls asleep :D That was lovely. You shouldn't worry so much! Not only did everything fit but all of the scenes were tied together because of one thing...they are family. Sid and Danny bantering like that was funny, and a good way to show that nothing will keep them down because cases come and go, but its best to celebrate the end of a big case when they can. :)

Mac and Don's interrogation...LOVED IT! I really hate Emery, i really do, but his attitude in provoking Mac was weird, did he want some police brutality? Geez! And when he accused Chris of being a butt hole, all I could think was that was like calling the kettle black, LMAO! The sooner they are done with this case, the more time can be spent on telling a certain woman he loves her, right? :D

I'm glad that you had everyone at the hospital with Stella, she shouldn't have to wake up and feel alone, her family was there. :) Everyone who matters was there and fun and banter letting them know she was okay was great, but I hope she does take a few days to rest up before returning to work. And Sheldon too, they took some hits and the lab will wait until they are truly okay. Seeing Mac take her in his arms...how can that be too much when he has been put through the wringer when he learned she had been kidnapped by that maniac? It was perfect! That is why that scene is my favorite. Now is this done or do you have more in you?

Hello! Welcome back to the fan fic world, you've been much missed :) Thank you also for your messages, it was really nice to hear from you. I'll reply soon as I can. I hope things are going better for you; sometimes it's really hard to balance everything in your life and sometimes big decision moments come up too. I know what you mean about losing your passion for the show, mine has been well and truly lost; however, I haven't entirely lost hope, and I'll never say never ;)

Okay, so to the review! No need ot feel nervous at all about the chapter! I really enjoyed it, and I was impatient to get home and read it this evening! It was well worth a read. I liked the tension, you kept that upvery well with all the conversation between Emery and STella, and how we had the click o the gun and how she launches herself. Loved Stella's action moments, and that was very kind of you to spare her this time :P I loved Lindsay's chance to be the hero also, good decision :)

Great tension (I'm not reviewing in a very sensible order here, sorry!) when Mac, Don and Angell are creeping forwards, I felt bad for Flack stepping on the twig, but it was also, though tense, a bit of a light-hearted moment. It was good seeing Mac asking how Stella was, and overall, I loved all the Mac/Stella - ness in this chapter, you kept it subtle and completely in character! I could picture exactly that Mac would be caring like that in a non-over the top way and Stella would give his cheek a kiss.

I really liked Angell's comment about where did the pained Emery come from and loved the moment of action Mac as well sliding in front of Stella :) It was cute of him to say he appreciated her strength :)

Oh, and I liked the detail too of how Emery strokes the trigger guard, that was a nicely creepy and tense detail! You wrote them all working together as a team very well too - something that I'd found lacking on the show.

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter! Excellent job :D Lily x

*huge hugs* For coming back and about the news about Melina. I wouldn't give up hope yet, there will be no more shipping between Mac and the new girl...so don't count our Greek goddess out yet. :)

Not only was this a cool chapter, but I don't want this to end! Stella did a great job with keeping Emery distracted but I do want to make it clear that I want to cuff Don on the head for not watching where he was going. Ugh, he could have blown the whole thing. But everything is good now. I do want to know why he killed all of those people, did he do it to play with the police? Or was it because the company he worked for shut down?

Killing people is bad but hitting Stella that to me is worse. Weird I know but eh. What I LOVE about this whole thing is that each and every person was working together to get their own back. To many Stella is their friend, sister, and heart. With Mac she is all three (sister in blue.) I love the line 'That's my Montana' it would be Danny to spout that lovely yet cheesy line. I love cheese so don't think that I didn't love it. :D But this is my favorite part and lines

"The two nodded and left the building. Stella smiled at him again. "I appreciate the thought, Mac, but I'm fine. Really, I can walk." She stood up, but fell. Luckily, Mac caught her before she reached the ground.

"I appreciate your strength, Stella, but you can't walk. At least, not without help," Mac said, putting her arm around him. "Come on, I'll help you."

A horn honked in front of the building. Mac and Stella looked out the door to see that Flack and Angell were there.

"Come on. I don't want you standing up too long. Let's go."

Mac started forward, but before they took a step, Stella pressed her lips to his cheek.

"Thank you," she whispered. Mac looked at her and smiled.

"Anytime."

That you aren't leaving, is awesome. I'm so sorry about what is happening to CSI NY.

Actually I just read the whole story this evening and it's fine. You have put in some nice plot twists and are now starting to connect the dots. I am enjoying your story.

What is with the lack of self confidence? This chapter is freaking great! We finally know who the killer is, Mac and the team know where to find the scumbag, and we have Sheldon out of the hospital and back at the lab with Adam and Sid helping at that end. The only thing I don't like about the chapter is the ending...a freaking cliffhanger! You enjoy torturing us? Because that is what you are doing. But far and away the best scene in here is where EVERYONE stopped Mac from going after this guy alone, only to have it turn out that they interrupted him from when he was about to tell them to meet him in the garage! LMAO! That was freaking marvelous!

But it did show how much everyone loves Stella so I can't really object to that. :D I loved how you worked in what Stella's name means, hopefully she will always light Mac's way. I'm looking forward to seeing how Emery connects to all of the murdered people.

"Hey Adam, do me a favor. Check this guy's college major. It wouldn't happen to be forensic science, right?" Flack said.

Adam checked his records. "He graduated with a Master's Degree in forensic science." He looked quizzically at Flack. "How did you know that?"

"Flack's just bursting with knowledge today," Danny sarcastically stated.

"Now I can officially call myself a crime scene investigator," joked Flack."

"Point is, we're a team. We stick together." Danny finished. Lindsay and Angell nodded in agreement.

Mac looked at each member of his team and saw the determined looks on all of their faces. It was clear that they weren't backing down.

"All right, grab your vests and meet me in the garage. And as soon as we get on I-678 South, cut the sirens. I don't know how good this guy's hearing is, but I don't want to risk him hearing us coming." Mac instructed. The team gave him an encouraging smile and turned to leave his office.

"But you know, I wasn't planning to go alone," Mac said. The team turned around to face him. "You guys just started speaking before I could tell you to meet me in the garage." A smile came to his face as he made his way past his team toward the elevators.

"I totally knew that," Flack said, trying to make it seem like he actually did know Mac's intentions.

"Of course you did," Angell smirked as the team hurried to their lockers to grab their bullet-proof vests."

"Stella's heart started beating faster as she swiftly invented a plausible response. "Simple. If I'm nice to you, I stay alive longer."

"Hawkes realized that everything Sid said was true. He sank into a chair and watched Adam as he worked. He put his confidence in the team. They would be fine."

Hey! Welcome back :D I was really pleased to see this! Thank you very much for updating, and before I forget, have a great time on your cruise, wow, sounds fantastic! I'm sorry you've had rainstorms and snowstorm; there's been lots of rain here, I was worried I might get washed away at one point :O Very good chapter indeed! What weren't you happy about with it? I thought it had lots of tension in here, and I liked how you moved the action and had the breaks in scene, that worked well. I think you have a great character with Oscar, and I loved the conversation you had between him and Stella. She's very smart to keep him talking, and also to not antagonise him. Very good conversation about what he's done to his victims and why. It was great to see Hawkes again, and I'm really glad he's okay. I could get a good sense of his frustration here, nice detail about the roadblocks. Really good scene with all the team; it was a good bit of levity to have some teasing between Danny and Flack, I enjoyed that :D It was really well described, Mac's reaction to all this, and how the others realise how this has affected him. I loved how you kept the tension up with them driving to where Stella is, and how that was intercut with her and her kidnappner knowing how much time it would take them. There was a real feeling of threat from him, espeically when he sits so close to her, and then moves away; unpredictable is not good. Great place to end it, but also a mean place! I really hope you can update soon, it was an excellent chapter!

Nice story but you need to hurry up a bit, getting impatient and bored waiting for new chapters to come out.
