| WritingRin chapter 1 . 3/11/2011 I liked this but I have one huge problem with it... I've always read that you shouldn't ever use a tourniquet unless you're trying to save a life. (Which she is not trying to do, because she wasn't hurried or stressed out enough. She didn't rush him to the car and speed down the highway to the hospital. She took her time.) You're not supposed to do tourniquets because you could stop the blood flow to the limb for too long and actually cause the victim to completely loose the limb! That's what I've heard at least. But even if it's exaggerated, why on Earth would Sakura tie a tourniquet around Itachi without seeming to try anything else to stop the bleeding first? The first thing you would obviously try to do is wrap the arm and apply pressure! This story is called 'bandage'-a bandage is what he definitely needs, not a tourniquet! DD:! Sorry to harp on that, but it gave me the heebie-jeebies. I'd hate for anyone to attempt a tourniquet in real life. As for the rest, I like this pairing. And I thought it was interesting that he was a cop! But Sakura was really annoying! That's a complaint against her personality though-not against the writing. |
