I really loved this story! Perfectly Mac and Stella, and I have to say that the ending was my favourite completely. It wrapped it up perfectly. The theme of smiles wwas so well don, from conflict to happiness and all the stages in between. Loved the argument and Stella's handling of it between Mac and Peyton, and then her sensitivity in talking with Peyton afterwards, despite her wariness. But I loved this line especially, it made me smile, 'Yes of course she loved Mac. How could anyone who knew him, not love him (criminals, and a certain DA excluded)?' And I have to agree :) And then Mac himself appears! That was great, and I loved how you showed their friendship and the care Stella takes of him. But like I say, last line my favourite, 'The next morning Mac and Stella walked into work holding hands.' Please write some more soon!
