This was nice, I liked it :).

'And then they die' is your idea of a happy ending? Lol! I loved this story, beautifully balanced, perfectly characterised, well-written and with a light touch on the physical aspects. It was very gentle inside Matt's head, which made the way he dies even more sad. These two make a great couple. I liked the way you used the cliche of watching a lover sleep and then flipped it so that the peacefulness was something Matt didn't like, because it wasn't right for Mello. Lovely stuff!

So sad. But really good. Definitely a favorite, I like the way you write. It's very good; simple, not much detail, but it gets the point across.

I wouldn't call it a happy ending, because unfortunately, all of us know what happens next ;_; Great story, none the less :) It was so very fluffy sometimes, while still being depressing as they were getting ever closer to that final job :(
