Loved it! Especially the 'bad jokes' scene when Shep and McKay were struggling not to be the weak one.

Gun little adventure, reminds me of The Perils of Pauline series of infamy.

Nice cliff-hanger. "Sheppard crumbled to his knees..." might be better as crumpled like paper wrinkles rather than crumbled like a cookie into bits.

I loved this story! :) Poor team - they never get a break, do they?

Pretty suspenseful throughout, especially during the first parts where everyone had their own battles to fight. I enjoyed the scenes where Rodney argues silently with himself; he's so entertaining (i.e. amusing) even when panicked (i.e. terrified). And the 'joke' debate was great. I just *knew* right then how the story was going to be wrapped up ... .~

And in the infirmary after John's comments regarding their teammates' behavior with certain visitors, I just kept waiting for Keller to stop by just so that John could make a glib remark regarding *Rodney's* (likely similar) behavior.

I think had I been in Teyla's place I wouldn't have hesitated to throw up. That's just common sense, isn't it? Like instinct? You just don't keep something in your stomach that you *know* is making you sick. She should have known better than to be stoic about that.

Well, no complaints otherwise. I did enjoy the story a lot, thank you! .

Yay, they're gonna be okay! Not that I really doubted that they would be, ultimately. You don't seem to be a fan of killing off our beloved cast.

I think toxic buffalo snot might be one of the most embarrassing ways to die ever. Poor Rodney. I agree with his and John's assessment of the planet's original inhabitants.

I loved how disappointed Rodney was over not getting to see the dam burst. Aw, Rodney, I'll blow up a dam just for you! Well, on an uninhabited planet, that is.

Teyla is super moisturized! And also nauseous. I liked seeing the rescue scene through Ronon's head-injured PoV; it really gets the reader inside his experience. Although I think I would have just been unnerved by Dr. Biro attempting to reassure me.

They all got pretty whumped in this one, but Rodney definitely had the widest range of injury. Almost drowned, near hypothermia, broken arm and bruises, toxic buffalo snot, plus a lot more nightmare fodder...poor guy. Good job waking him up, John!

Hmm, I wonder if the buffalo snot was toxic to the natives as well or if it only affects Milky Way humans. Because the natives could probably have washed their hands before it became a serious problem - or worn gloves. Or radiation suit-style squam protective gear! They could have called them SPGs. If their words for "protective" and "gear" also started with the same letters. Hmm, I wonder how gatespeak translates acronyms...?
