Omg this is fantastic! I love your take on her! She's so different and yet so similar to her parents!

And I especially love the way you've subverted the Jacob angle. I remember the books had mentioned that Jacob would be there for her in any capacity she needed - i.e. brother, uncle, lover, etc. but most people seem fixated on the whole lover angle. Having Jacob as the uncle is great and I love it!

This is a Renesmee I can actually like, versus the implication of the too-perfect girl of canon. I can much better stomach this variation of imprinting, too.

You have a gift for improving half-baked canons. Like some kind of specialty plot editor, or a creativity-fairy godmother.

Coming back to this after watching Lindsay Ellis' "Dear Stephanie Meyer" Video, which apologizes for the mindless hate train that the twilight series got, and says that Meyer was actually a very chill person who got to live her dream, warts and all.

So... yeah, since good things like this story, with it's wonderful development and message... well, Twilight isn't all that bad.

This is beautiful, and we live in a world where sparkly vampires can be popular, and that's a wonderful thing.

I don't dislike Renesmee quite so much after reading this.

Gah, this is the cutest story and it just makes me happy because hey, maybe there's hope for Renesmee to have a fulfilling, non-vampire life after all. I love how for her, the odd part of her heritage is the human part because all her relatives are now vampires, and how Jacob is like a third parent to her and doesn't want to be anything else. And Edward and Bella being like, "How did we give birth to this chick?"
I dunno, babes, but she's pretty cool.
