I loved the Tim and Abby moment at the end of the epilogue. And I loved your character Nick. I'm glad you brought him back to talk to Tim in the hospital. I think he needed someone other than Gibbs or Ducky or Tony to talk to him about all of that. Great, well written story!

I've been holding off on reveiwing until now, to try to save you space in your inbox :) This is a pretty good story! Usually I avoid the subject of child abuse because it's the only thing I'm just not able to handle reading about, or watching in a movie. The first few chapters were difficult, but I appreciate that you didn't get into too much detail. I liked how you chronicled his life through season four... it was like watching the snippets from the episdoes! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this fic/ :)

And here's the whumping! And then we get a little moment with Gibbs and McGee in the boat. One of the things I love about Gibbs is that he doesn't come up with platitudes, and that no-nonsense attitude makes more effective in times like this.
