It's like 10 past 2 in the morning where I am. I was reading this on my Nintendo DSi XL and I was all Awww and I looked up to dramatically smile and stare into space and I saw this black thing about the size of my hand floating in the middle of the room and I was like AAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!

It turned out to be the spider made from pompoms and pipecleaners that I hung from my lampshade which my mam hasn't made me take down yet amazingly.

It scared the living shit out of me.

Damn... Kevin really is a deep (Great Lake Deep) kinda guy, isn't he? But hell, it isn't Ben's fault, or anyone else's (sorta), when the guy won't open up and let him in, right?

It was an awsome story, but in my opinion it would be better if it were longer. Maybe allowing him to pursue Ben and speak to his mother if the boy turned him down though in the end he gets him. Though that is just my idea on how to make it more awsome.

I wouldn't want to use the word pretty to describe this, but it was pretty. Beautiful. Whatever you want. It was awesome. I liked it. Even though it was full of really heavy emotions, I found myself smiling at some times. (maybe that's just me)

It was written nicely.

This was very sweet. I loved you bringing Kevin's mom into it, intangible as she was. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I especially love that classic line, "If it comes back, it's yours." I live by those words.

If you're looking for a better ending, though, might I suggest, "'Night, Mom."? I know you mentioned the "second presence" was gone, but, hey, it'd fit in well enough, I think. I dunno. But anyway, really sweet and wonderful. Made my day.
