I really love reading well constructed one-shots, particularly when they have a captivating opening and a nice feeling of closure. This one pretty much hit all the right notes for me and I think even gave me a few ideas of my own.

Also, I don't know why people hate Keitaro/Naru fictions. I think maybe too many people have watched the anime instead of reading the manga and in the anime there is a fair degree of flanderization going on in regards to Naru's comedic punching of Keitaro. Anyway, it certainly didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story and I thought Naru was presented well enough for me to enjoy that type of denouement.

A very humorous fic of Love Hina to enjoy. To think that a cat would be Keitaro's savior. I could only imagine if Akamatsu were to make a non-canon piece similar to this. Personally, I don't mind a Kei/Naru fic unlike some people around here. Even though I don't dislike Naru, I still find her tsun tsun habits to be very annoying. That especially goes to her anime incarnation.

Well, this was nice and amusing. And Naru's harsh a lot of the time, but as far as the Tsunderes I've seen go, she's not too bad. At least, unlike Asuka, she HAS a sweet side that lasts longer than a split-second.

The animals in 'Love Hina' are rarely the main subject in any fanfiction, mores the pity. Having this story revolve around a cat was a nice touch.

Especially if Kanako arrived and made a play for Keitaro while he's dating Naru?

Actually, that wouldn't make a bad story, with each pet trying to sabotage the opposing girl's romantic efforts.
