This was quite an interesting piece. I think people are put off because there's one big fat paragraph in the middle, (not that its THAT big, but still) btu really, it's cool. I liked it.

Very well-writen. I'm almost disappointed by the drabble-length, though... this feels like the sort of piece that would really benefit from being expanded to a couple thousand words.
