I really liked this one. For me, the list is from one of the the description given, I assumed:

1 Hotch

2 JJ

3 Morgan/Prentiss/Reid

4 Idem

5 Garcia

6 Rossi

7 Mother/Family

Reading, there is one two spots for the three counterparts. That's mean that the list is from one of them: Morgan, Prentiss or Reid. But then is number 7: "even money says it's Mom", Prentiss isn't that close to her mother, and that reduced the possibilities: Morgan or Reid.

I have to admit having a little favoritism to last one, so I say is Reid's list. That's explain also why JJ is almost at top. One of the empty spots could be Gideon's...

Oh, this is an intersting one. More so the fact that you have taken for granted that The List must have 10 people on it. Why 10? Just to make a point, show the contrast in the absence?

I've interpreted this as the speed dial list of any given BAU agent. So if, for example, it's Reid, then the list is as follows:

1. Hotch

2. JJ

3. Prentiss or Morgan

4. Morgan or Prentiss

5. Garcia

6. Rossi

7. Mom

1: Hotch 2: JJ 3: Emily, Morgan, Reid 4: ? 5: Gracia 6: Rossi 7: three mothers

4: can be Gideon seeing how he is no longer with the team.

Now who's phone is it ... hm it could be blank blank and blank.

Good to have you back :oD I've been trying to fathom whose phone it is,I might be wrong but think it might be Reid,Morgan AND Emily's...what I mean is that number 1 sounds like Hotch,2 sounds like JJ,3 is either Reid,Morgan or Emily,ditto with number 4,number 5 sounds like Garcia,6 is Rossi and 7 is probably all 3 agent's mothers? In other words,all 3 have practically the same names in the same order on speed dial or am I completely on the wrong track?

I'm afraid I don't understand your story. Is each number supposed to be someone on the BAU team? If it is, i think 5 is Garcia, but I just don't see the others.
