I remember reading this story over 8 years ago and it's still wonderful. I love the personality you've given Link and Tatl and the wonderful backstory hints for them both. I love how you characterize the Deku and the monkeys and vaguely imply the magic of this world.
I really really love this story, it's been comforting me through all this craziness. I hope wherever you are, you're doing alright.

I was reading this story again, which is still pretty great and holds up so well after all these years, and I noticed this quote:

"You'd better. I'm not mopping up your entrails..."

Is that an intentional or unintentional reference to your other story a "untitled navi tatl"? I got a nice kick out of it either way.

Anyway, I do sincerely hope that this story is still a WIP and not abandoned - with the amount of foreshadowing you've placed into Ikana Canyon, I am really looking forward to what your take is on it along with the Elegy of Emptiness.

Ive read and reread this story so many times, and every time it leaves me utterly speechless. This has to be one of my favorite LoZ fanfics out there, just everything about this fic is amazing. There isnt a dull moment to be found. Im so happy i stumbled across this fic again, and i really hope that some day you come back to keep writing it.

I've really enjoyed the lore you've given to this world, and... agh, I don't have the words for it right now, but I've really enjoyed this story. So, so much.
If you don't mind, I want to mention how I found this story. It was... a couple months ago, I think? I couldn't sleep. And I had been having trouble sleeping for a few days before that, too. So, out of tired boredom, I googled "insomnia". I scrolled through the first results, which were about actual insomnia, not bothering to read them, and... I actually found the tvtropes page for this. I clicked that link, and was grateful to find it had the link to the fic proper. I haven't looked at the tvtropes page yet, because I didn't want it to potentially spoil this for me.
I'm glad I didn't. I still don't know what that says, but now I know what this story says. If that makes sense. And I'm really glad that in my bored, sleep-deprived state, I googled "insomnia" that night. I might not have found this if not for that. I've since rested and am now very much awake and aware, and I still really enjoy Insomnia, your story here.
Um... I see that it hasn't been finished. And it doesn't seem to have been updated in quite some time. I'm okay with that. Real life gets in the way of things, and/or things don't spark joy the way they used to... all kinds of stuff can happen. Although I'd like to see how this version of Majora's Mask ends, I don't want to add any pressure on you for that.

Hello. First, I'm sorry about the delay that's happened in between the last review and this one. It's all delays and problems on my end, nothing to do with your wonderful story! (Of course, I don't know if this matter is still even relevant... oh well.)
Second, I liked reading this chapter a lot! Especially the part where Darmani's ghost was with Link while they were talking to the elder. I still love the characterization at work here! :D

Heck yeah, the action scene worked! Heck yeah, the Link/Tatl interactions were (and have been, the whole time) great! You didn't /need/ to include the sidequest-ish stuff in this story, but you did and fits really well, I think. Anyway, thank you for this chapter and this story. I hope you're doing okay.

I... don't know what to say, but I really like how you're handling this side quest here. I guess you could say I like these exact words in this specific order.
Oh, and um... I haven't actually read any Zelda fanfic before this one. Played some of the games, yes... but I haven't read any other fans' stories. And I doubt I could have picked a better first one for the Zelda series. Thank you. : )
