Please keep on going! This story is actially quite good, from what I've already seen, and I'm sure the next part will be just as good! If it's still worrying you a bit, relax and do some leisurely stuff, like read manga, watch anime, or just dance around and belt out a song (provided that no one sees you, if you're shy) - in other words, loosen up! If you're still having trouble, get out a piece of paper, and write down what you want to happen, what's going to happen, and how it's going to happen. Making a list helps with the getting ideas down part, and it really helps with things like priorities and suchlike. _ This always works for me, so... I hope you find this helpful! Please update soon! :)

A breathe of fresh air. Sano and Kaoru's interaction are often unexplored. I felt other characters seems to fade when faced with the super pairing of KK, and I think that you did so GREAT in your first chappie. I can feel the bond forming!

I really like the Sano-Kaoru relationship being geniune friends. Not many people are privileged to enjoy that.

This story is very insightful and your examination of Kaoru and Sano's characters is very well done. It looks like you won't be continuing this, but if you ever do, I'll be sure to read it.

I really liked that. It was nice to see the complexity of the Sano/Kaoru interaction. I also liked the respect for Kaoru, and the complexity of her personality and role. I don't think I've seen a fic explore this moment in this way before, which has me very excited. Usually, I'm anxious for Kenshin to wake up at a point like this, but actually I'm enjoying seeing the interactions with Kaoru and Sano, and looking forward to seeing Kaoro interact in her fey wounded state with Yahiko and the doctor first. I feel like as soon as he wakes up, she will have to put back on the mask. But then again I love seeing K&K look through the masks. Please continue and thank you.

This was gorgeous.

From the language to the verse, it was lovingly composed with a nice sensibility and atmosphere. I love that you didn't overload with Japanese terms(sadly used unnecessarily in this fandom to an extreme)and when you did they fit and added to the ambiance of the story.

The interaction between characters was very thoughtful and rang true. Especially the later moments between a speculative Kaoru and thoughtful Sanosuke. That was when it works best. Only critical point I would venture is in your handling of Kenshin in the middle. It was a bit of fluff that could have been handled more smoothly on whole. His speech patterns and actions seemed staid and off putting to an otherwise excellent bit of writing.

I am also a fan of the relationship between Sano and Kaoru (purely platonic, but fascinating dynamics). I really like the way you begin here, and the detail you're showing. I hope you continue.
