I have no experience with medical stuff, but I think it's pretty good that McGee first woke up five days after the surgery.

I can't imagine being a doctor and seeing that on my table... one of the many, many reasons I'm NOT a doctor. :-)

Poor McGee! I guess I should be saying poor McGee's body. At least McGee's finally unconscious.

If I'd been McGee, I'd have been screaming for some morphine the moment I knew medics were on the scene. And maybe something to render me completely unconscious. He's going to have a long road ahead of him, just from your description of his leg and the spikes in his torso.

Oh, wow. McGee's in a world of pain, and everyone around there's gonna have a hard time just being around that as they get him free. It kind of hurt just reading it - and we haven't even gotten to the part where they cut him out, which I just know is going to be much, much worse.

How did I miss this story? Are you going back in time and writing more?

Kind of an old story, but I'm kind of new in the NCIS fanfic arena and wanted to throw this out there anyway and let you know that this is one of my favorite hurt!Tim stories out there. Probably because of its originality and simplicity. And how quickly Team Gibbs bans together to comfort poor Tim. Thanks for writing it, I really enjoyed it (along with your other stories)!

I do not know what harrows look like, and I was tempted to look at a picture of them, but I don't think I want a clearer mental image of what Tim looks like... I like the story so far and I want Tim to be not in pain!
