Awsome story only to bad chomper had to leave the great valley

I'm rereading this several years later and I have to say this chapter in particular gives me some really good 'chirin no suzu' vibes (it doesn't copy chirin though, it's just the feeling I have at the moment, is all. This is a really good story and I don't mean to compare the plot with something else. I just find the whole thing with Chomper going with Sharptooth and Little foot going with Doc just really, really cool and I love it still) and it's just super cool because like not many things feel that way to me, you know?

Sorry for the wall of text, there. I don't mean to be offensive in any way. I just want you to know that this chapter really hit me, and this story is still my most favorite Land Before Time work, and I applaud you for taking the time to think all of this up and put it down in writing. (And for sharing with the rest of us!)

I know I'm repeating myself when I say this story is cool, and cool might not be the word I'm looking for, but I truly mean it when I say it is. This story is the first thing I think about when I think about the movies and such, and it's been a real fun thing to remember when I'm feeling down.

Sorry I'm on anon and you can't really reply should you want to, but I really wanted to actually leave a review to this story. It's left such a good memory in my life and it continues to be a good read.

When I saw the first Land Before Time back when I was a Kid (I was 4 when my parents showed me it), I was wondering if they were gonna do another movie with him returning. This was a nice follow up to that very first movie so long ago.

If they somehow turned this into a Movie, I would be blown away

Land Before Time was a huge part of my childhood and this story was a fantastic on most badass way of ending the series thank you so much for writing this amazing story

Whywhywhy? I'm with the reveiwer named also with the user name sharptooth that he had a life of sorrow and he didn't deserve that! The viper scene in the movie the secret life of pets when the rabbit was giving the viper a goodbye speech was just how I feel!

Sorry, but while the writting style ist okay, for most "The Land Before Time" stories it is quite good actually, you made one of the biggest mistakes a writter can make, you created an undefeatable enemy. Not an seemingly undefeatable one, but instead a real undefeatable one. Some might ask, where lies the difference, well, the Empire in "Star Wars" and with it Darth Vader and the Emperor work so well because they may seem undefeatable at first, but already in the first movie it is shown that at least in the short run they are vulnerable, even though it still looks like you can not defeat them in the long run, especially after "The Empire Strikes Back". And with that the final victory in "Return of the Jedi" works even better, because it is a great, nearly unbelievable victory, but it is still in the realm of possibility. But even when Littlefoot would win this, I'm sorry, it would be outside any suspense of disbelieve. Why? Sharptooth was dead, that's already bad enough, but then the entire Great Valley should not be able to stop him? And the story about that dinosaurs where once bigger and stronger as a deus ex-machina? And Littlefoot is again such a "Super-Dino"? No sorry, but for me this is way to far fetched to be taken even remotley seriously as an story about a once great Children-Franchise.

Oh, and by the way, sure, the series never took science to seriously, but a T-Rex (Sharptooth race) never became much older than 30 years old, 100 is again outside the realm of posibility even in thsi franchise.

LOVED IT, after I finished this fanfic I just had to listen to "If We Hold On Together" for to put the cherry on the cake. This NEEDS to put in theaters with the exact animation as the original!.
