I love your Danric. While Sherwood Smith's Danric is so underplayed with readers only getting glimses of his unequaled briliance (Although I think he is close to Mr. Darcy and Sir Percy Blakeny). You take the bleak black and white lines of his character and color them in with a briliance! Please oh Please finish out the entire Court Duel book. I shall now eagerly dig into other stories you have writen as you are an amazing writer.

After a hugely long absence on my part I am here to tell you to write more. It is not even an polite favor that I am asking, rather I am telling you that you have to write more or I will die. Slowly and excruciatingly. But before I die, I will hunt you down and force you to write more. And if you somehow resist and don't, then I will die in the afore mention manner. I realize that you last updated this over a year ago, so I am commenting on here to remind you that I'm still here, waiting to see what happens next! Especially after the horse race part. Now I will plead. PLEASE?

I don't have too much to say about this other than the fact that I adore this piece a lot. Wish you could finish it, but I love it as it stands.

I'd also like to point out that the last line of this chapter "Because that is how I am strong" was, perhaps, the most impressive summation of behavior that I've read in a long time. Striking, simple, and so very apt, because it does indeed take an incredible amount of strength to sit still and bear events that we would rather escape or rail against. In those moments where action is unacceptable, we find out if we truly can endure.
