I can see how Laurel K. Hamilton influenced this and it was well written; however, I was still "icked out" at the pairing of Sesshomaru and Rin - particularly since his young ward is more of a daughter than a lady in waiting. Perhaps it is in fulfilling his complete role as parent that Sesshomaru shall also surpass his father.

In any case, your muse is still alive and kicking.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved the interactions between the two. It's somewhat of a different approach to their relationship, but I felt it was just so sweet and pure. Great job.
