Well, it's a decent first story, although there's some room for improvement. You did do a good job avoiding typographical errors, which is more than I can say for a lot of stories.

Even if you had Akane's age right, she should've already graduated by now with her (should be 19th) birthday coming up. She was already 16 shortly into 10th grade, meaning her birthday occurred early in the Japanese school year.

Ah, so it hadn't started raining yet. You should probably make that clearer.

While this is pretty interesting, it's filled with major errors after just four chapters!

The age of majority in Japan is 20, not 18.

If this is two years after the manga, Akane should be turning at least 19, probably 20, not 18.

Ranma's birthday can't be the summer before Akane's, or he would've been a grade ahead of her in school, which starts in April in Japan.

Quighai Province is in Western China, several days travel from the Eastern coast. It took Ranma and Genma two weeks to get to the Tendos' for a reason.
