It was six months that Sam had to survive without Dean. The three months was only how long he had Not talked to Bobby.
Otherwise good story.

Good take on the story. Just one thing, it was actually six months that Sam was on his own after that Wednesday. No biggie. Really good writing.

This was such a great story and Mystery Spot being my favorite episode, I always enjoy reading stories on Sam's feelings or the aftermath or what kind of affect it had on the poor man. You really have an amazing talent for writing! But I do want to point out something. You said toward the end that Dean had only been dead for 3 months after that Wednesday? It wasn't 3 months. It was 6 months. ; Just wanted to point that out. Anyway, great job! I know this is an older piece, but I couldn't help commenting. I'm enjoying your stories.

Good, real good. The feel was just like it should be, Sam's insomnia and clingyness and Dean's own brand of angst over Sam's closing him out of what he's been through.

Nice touch of them sharing the bed in the end. Comfortable like a pair of well broken in boots.

Is this a one shot or are you thinking of letting us readers share in the healing process however long it takes?

I need to thank Tara for sending this my way. Nicely done. I know in all the sweetness captured here that this should seem trivial, but for some reason I really liked that Bobby had the brand of coffee that the boys liked ready to brew. I figured, being Bobby, he'd slip something in it for Sam (holy water anyone?), but I still liked that he knew their brand.
