Just started reading WWZ stories. This one oozes the book's spirit, I'd say. Very well written.

Very well-written and moving. I enjoyed seeing the war through the eyes of a teeenager as there were barely any storie in the book told from a teenager's viewpoint. I also like how you explored the psychological effects that being bitten could have on a victim and how that would cause them to lie and put others in danger.
I also enjoyed seeing how the protagonist regretted lying to his mother and the ending line "I still say it's nonsense" highlighted his angst.
The only part I didn't understand well was how the protagonist was able to build a bridge from his house while being attacked.
But overall, very good story.

That was a lovely, lovely story and I shall make a point of reading your others. It reads like Brooks' style and could easily fit right into WWZ. Well done.

I love how this is written as if it could actually fit into the book.

This was absolutely brilliant, and well-written too! I never would have thought of a bridge across the suburbs. I would have liked a few more details about life atop the bridge though. Did they pitch tents, or break into houses? Did they patrol, or just keep a casual watch as they worked?

I've never read the book, never even heard of it. But I still very much enjoy this fanfic. You're without a doubt my new favorite fanfic writer. (And I guess you're somewhere in the top 10 of all writers.)

A compleatly brilliant story, and it makes total sense. I really like your style and would definatly read more of your stuff if given the oprotunity.

Now this is something I'd expect Max Brooks himself to write. It was very interest. It's a pretty good thing Doyle lied and said he had a cold that day... The only thing off was, It takes normally a day or two for the infection to take over, I don't think the ones bitten during the night could have turned then by that one guy. But other than that, very good.
