| Aniphine chapter 9 . 9/23/2019 I loved this chapter! Zim showing Purple around earth and bragging was so awesome and hilarious. I love that he gets to do some impressing, even if it’s of course a double edge sword - because he’s an idiot sometimes, and it shows. XD I absolutely love how you show Zim’s best talent: twisting narrative to his advantage. It makes him so in character! Great chapter! |
| Aniphine chapter 8 . 9/23/2019 I love how you tie lore into this cool world building! “There was still a faint shine behind them, not just a murky darkness. The waters hadn't claimed Zim yet, he first thought—but that was an old-fashioned, ancient idea; in modern times it was the Void, Zim hadn't gone to the Void yet. Then he wondered why he cared what it was called. Death is death is death. And Zim wasn't dead yet.” That’s just sooo good! I love how you show how the culture has progressed, and tied that into their intolerance to water. Playing in the fact that they’re ‘evil’ and giving it a plot relevant reason is so amazing. The value they place around transfusions is also super cool! Zim’s reaction was hilarious and super meaningful. I loved it. Also worth noting again how well you characterize GIR. He’s so random and insane. “There's no harm in doing a necessary good to promote the greater evil.” Such a good line! Super awesome plot twist with the height extension being an option! I’m happy Zim is happy but this is sooo bad for him. Great storytelling! |

| Aniphine chapter 6 . 9/23/2019 Hot damn this chapter had punch! I loved the progression through Dib’s perspective, and the fact that Zim woke up from a heart attack as the intro to his scene was so impactful! The call with 777 was super interesting and the way he described Zim’s suicidal look was incredible. I love how much weight you put on these little expressions and experiences. Zim’s on the war path! I love how you described that, and “shoot me” as a curse word. Man the world building is so awesome in this. |
