I really wanted Kakashi to just make a comeback, like, do his eye-smile thing, and be like: “unfortunately, yes. I fall asleep into nightmares of the memory of finding my dead father who committed suicide stabbing himself, and the crushed body of my best friend. I see my friend lifeless, killed by my own hands. I see my teacher dead. Unfortunately, death hasn’t been the point I specialize in!” And he, just walks away in mock cheerfulness, damn, that would be satisfying.

I blame Rowling for Harry's ARROGANT attitude. She made everything each year be linked to him, so it's no wonder he thinks the world revolves around him. I love the Golden trio but holy shit those three - especially Hermione - are just as arrogant as Malfoy!

If closing his Sharingan made it so he couldn't hear Dumbledore than why didn't Kakashi just do that to avoid having to tell them anything? And it's not that he didn't do it cause he didn't know, because he noted earlier that he hadn't heard the fire next to him before opening his Sharingan. I mean, he still wouldn't have gotten out of telling them things because they would have just cast the ward adjusting spell sooner, but Kakashi could have resisted a little more.
