Great ending! I thought we were going to have to use our imaginations in regards to Starscream's 'corrupted file', but here it is for all to see. Nice, nice tie-in to current events. How interesting that Starscream was aware that something was inside of him, making him act the way he did towards Megatron. Even more interesting, the warlord's own earlier confession of his feelings. Very good. I can't wait for 'Hunted Species' to continue.

On a side note: Galvatron has been getting the better of his brother for a while now, perhaps it is time for Megatron to even the odds?

wow what a turn over of emotions in this chapter! now i'm really looking forward to what changes Starscream will adopt back in Hunted Speciesm and how everybody will react to it, especially Megatron. but i do wonder what this "death wish" is inside of him. i remember in one chapter of Hunted Species (i forget which) that a disc with some sort of virus in it has made him all paranoid and corrupted in his systems. that's obviously it isn't it?

this is a well written piece and you have rekindled my interest in the main story this is attached to.

also, just to let you know, there is a naming mistake when the introduction of the Combaticons takes place where you've placed the name "Constructicons" instead of "Combaticons":

"Fuming with this humiliation, Starscream quickly devised a new plan to take leadership away from Megatron and built his own army; the Constructicons."

how your beta reader did not notice that is a mystery hehe.

Lol, nice cliff-hanger. Your story makes me want to go and watch those old Transformers episodes; it has been so long since I've seen them. Thanks for including episode references at the end of your chapter. And even though english isn't your native toungue, you really have a talent for using the language. I especially like the colorful( and accurate) descriptions of Starscream - how he is addicted to bickering with Megatron and that the conflict was like a drug. He has always been an interesting character, but you have made him even more so by giving a rythm and a reason behind his actions. Can't wait for the next chapter!
