I could never stand canon Ginny she is such a tool and is very 2D in personality. She is more akin to HufflePuff and couldn't fight her way out of a paper bag or assume someone else would open the bag.

This was a great ending! Wonderful story.

So, I'm not in the Harry Potter fandom anymore.
However.
I got my account just a few days ago, and one of the first things I did was go back and look for the fics I loved back all that time ago and favorite/review them.

I have to ask: Why didn't they just check her wand for the last spell? They wouldn't have just given her the truth potion, and in fact I'm fairly sure they wouldn't do that in a legal case anyway as evidenced from previous court trials we've seen in the HP series - not to mention the fact that I don't understand how she can lie while taking a truth potion anyway (unless she's actually schizophrenic or something, and didn't realise it was her that attacked LM...). I really hope that this:

/Why the truth potion had made her say the biggest lie in her life she never knew, and had a feeling she never would./

Isn't just a way of writing the incident off.

This was interesting to read, as I felt like Ginny was more of an observer during the chapter rather than an actual person that this was all happening too, and I'm not sure if that's intentional or not.

I also question that people would just instantly believe anything that Lucius Malfoy had to say (at least not until she took the potion and confessed, etc.), particularly because of his involvement with Voldemort (even if it's done and dusted and the Malfoys technically came through in the end, he still has a bad track record), not to mention the fact that the Weasleys and the Malfoys have a widely known dislike for each other, so that's a motive to frame her right there. I also understand the reverse is true of Ginny, but I'm wondering if she was even represented during a trial - if there was one. If there were ways around a truth potion, the Ministry would know about it and it would have come out in the trial. It's just all a little strange.

Overall this chapter is well written and I enjoyed it despite it's length. I could overlook the points above, but I really just wish there had been a bit more depth to Ginny's character so that she was more three dimensional.

I love this story I do.

But you need an English beta.

We have pavements not sidewalks.

We study at uni, not major in college.

We don't hit on, we flirt.

We don't have motels.

It just ruins the flow of the story and makes it hard to read. Fine if it's an American story... But Harry Potters English :/

This is very muggle. I can't believe that two purebloods could not have thought of confounding the Hotel employee at the desk, as well as changing their apparence such as their eye and hair colour. If you wanted a drama/action series, all you had to do was go over on fictionpress and write an original where you would have gotten a lot more credit. This story just does not fit into the HP world with so little magic. Draco and Ginny come off as the stupidest wizards ever. I mean - use magic, duh!
