CSI Encyclopedia chapter 21 . 8/11/2017
The case you mention. The muti killing. Silent witness case I believe.

Loving this story. This is probably my thousandth read through.
AP.Violin chapter 26 . 7/18/2016
Bless your heart for writing this :') I'm still in book 5 and haven't watched the whole series yet, but this gave me some closure to this most frustrating beautiful couple...I'm seriously in love with Tony Hill!
Ceridwyn2 chapter 26 . 1/23/2012
Love this story. I love the detail and intricacies of a long, well planned out story. And the love story of Tony and Carol was well played out, addressing the fears and trepidations her leaving had caused for both of them. Years later now, I need some more of your WitB stories. :)
yamifannetje chapter 1 . 5/9/2011
is it not just supposed that someone falls asleep when he gets hypnotized by following the way of a medaillon :p:p:p
TrapperII chapter 14 . 2/25/2011
I really liked this line:

Absently shaking his head, he said, "I see the victim, too. But I'm not trying to save them."
TrapperII chapter 10 . 2/25/2011
Loved the ending to this chapter. Perfect dialogue between them. Perfect "baby steps" of coming together.
TrapperII chapter 7 . 2/25/2011
Tony's disorientation in this scene is described so wonderfully. Very true to character and good writing!
TrapperII chapter 6 . 2/25/2011
Brilliant reunion scene! Poor Tony: "What he didn't notice was his right hand coming up to press against his chest, though even if he had been aware, he wouldn't have known if it was to feel the comfort of the rise and fall of his lungs, or to protect his heart."
yamifannetje chapter 7 . 12/2/2010
What is the matter with Tony? Is it that strange, unexpected, uneasiness that makes him so rude towards Alex?

I would have never expect our Tony to be so out of his balance only because of being pushed aside...Or have I seen to less yet of the series?
lullabymoon chapter 26 . 3/10/2010
I love this! The characterisation is great, the plot is compelling and satisfying and I just love the interaction between everyone.

There are so many moments that are just brilliant that it would take me all day to list them, so I'll just stick with saying the whole thing is brilliant. :D
kerry chapter 26 . 2/9/2010
Awesome story - great characterisation.

An chance of a sequel? :)
jender13 chapter 26 . 1/13/2010
Fantastic! I've so enjoyed your Wire in the Blodd stories, and a longer one was such a treat! You do such a brilliant job at capturing all the characters - Tony, Carol, Alex - and you did a fine job at leading Tony and Carol into that new territory while keeping them from radicallt shifting their personalities.

I particulary liked the way you portrayed the friendship between Alex and Tony - subtly more than just the concern you'd have for a colleague, not quite crossing the line into the sort of relationship Tony and Carol have. It seems like what they both need is more a friend than a lover.

I look forward to more from you! I have one last episode of season 6 and then sadly i'll be done, but in fanfic they live on!
hillevi chapter 26 . 10/28/2009
i wish valmcdermid reads this!
Rinne chapter 26 . 10/23/2008
I absolutely loved this. Incredibly well done. I think you handled their relationship beautifully and kept it very true to the characterisation.
Rinne chapter 14 . 10/23/2008
She looked around, pretending to see if there was anyone else. “Yep, it’s me. You know,” she cautioned him, “you need to pay more attention when you answer your door. I could have been a deranged lunatic.” Then she remembered their first case together. “Shit. You’re the only person I could make that joke to and have it be true. “Sorry.”

He waved away the apology. “Obviously, I need the reminder.” Stepping aside, he let her in and locked the door behind him.

That made me laugh so much. I'm really enjoying this story so far.
