It's be a good while since ive read something this good that wasn't recommended to me by a family member or friend. I can legitimately say i hope you can recapture your mojo, an continue writing this story.

Yet ANOTHER GREAT story ABANDONED.

This is pretty decent, though long abandoned.

It falls into the usual scenario of manipulative Dumbledore fanfics- he manipulates, cheats and harms, then his victim (usually Harry but sometimes others) forgive him with a lecture. Repeat again and again.

Still it is fairly well written.

I don't know why I even started reading this. Didn't look at the dates as I usually do. Authors who have not updated within 2 years should remove the story or offer it to someone else. ARGH!

"Hermione quickly forgave him" WHAT?! For buying a desk? For not telling her? Why? Why should he, at only 14 years of age, be obligated to tell her anything, really. That is ridiculous! Thankfully, my sons would never put up with being treated that way by any girl. And they were raised to treat girls properly, but not to be emotionally abused by girls.

Yeah, Albus is only sorry that he got caught. Funny that Hermione gets angry with Harry over inconsequential crap that has nothing to do with her, yet expects him to just blow off the fact that she kept him from knowing she was using a time-turner all year. Classic sign of a controlling abuser. I always wondered about the horcrux. It was Dumbledore who said it couldn't be removed, but he doesn't know everything he thinks he knows. The horcrux is in the scar, separate from Harry's soul. They could have tried a muggle way... cut it out surgically.

They should also tell Amelia what Albus had planned

Harry doesn't need to worry too much, Minerva was supposed to have him, Sirius has a claom on him, Amelia offered him a home. He has places that he will be well protected, so what is the problem? Amelia wont be cowed by Dumbles, and I'm sure Minerva won't be either, Sirius probably needs some time recuperating
