One of my favorites of all time, had to reread and still throughly enjoyed it.

OH MAH GUUUUURRRRSSSHH! This was (is?) the greatest Itachi story I've ever read! I've spent like the past week doing... Nothing but reading this. I had other stuff to do, but thanks to the beauty that is fanfiction, I procrastinated! :D And I enjoyed every second of it.
Anyway, bottom line this was awesome. I'll probably check out the sequel eventually, but even lazy bums like me have to kick themselves into gear sometimes, so I think it'll be awhile. (Stupid world and work! Why can't we just live in a world where flying monkeys wait on us and do stuff for us!)

well going for 80% accuracy means i hope you changed Itachi and Shisui into BIG lovers of the village because both Itachi and Shisui loved the village more than anything and did everything to protect it... even though Shisui loved the clan more than Itachi i believe for Itachi it was always Sasuke first then his village then the clan

this story is good but just a few inconsistencies i wanted to point out incase you come back to edit... I don't believe Minato could be hokage when Obito died because he was still a Jounin at the time and he was out of the village with Obito, Kakashi and Rin and as you know the Hokage cannot leave the village unless completely necessary... and even though it was war he wouldnt be able to leave on a mission... and also Kakashi's Sharigan is on his left eye... small quirk i know but accuracy freaks like me notice stuff like that anyway great story and can't wait to finish

Great story I loved it. Though it was really sad. At one point I'm sure my friend thought I was going crazy. Iwas reading it in school and was on a sad part and started crying and started telling her what was going on.

To be honest, I am just speechless, but I've got to tell you how much I loved this awesome story or it just wouldn't be right. This was one of the saddest stories I've ever read and it was also one of the best fics that I have ever laid eyes on. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten such a detailed and realistic insider’s look into how Itachi was raised and the going ons inside the Uchiha clan. The level of insight and perception into the Uchiha massacre, Itachi as a person, a child, and his mental development, as well as your interpretation of the Uchiha clan as a whole, and actual Naruto events inside this story...is unbelievable.

Its incredibly sad, its incredibly beautiful, its Incredibly realistic, and its put together SO well. It fits so naturally into the actual manga events that its like a matching puzzle piece that I can wholeheartedly say clicks together with the real deal and that this was what I believe might have happened during the early years of Itachi’s life if Kishimoto had gone into detail about Itachi's early life. If someone said so, I would be able to believe it after reading this. I have nothing more to say about it besides that this story was made of some of the best 437,601 words I have ever read, or seen written. Reading this was well worth my time. Thank you for writing it!

Hi. This isn't just a review for this fanfiction but also your fanfiction 'A Perceptiom of Reality'.
You've not been on the site for quite a while, so I have no idea if you will ever see this.
But I just wanted to say that you are, beyond any doubt, the best writer I have had the pleasure of 'seeing'. Your writing skills are absolutely amazing and I can only hope to even be half as good as you were when writing these.
This fanfiction is incredibly complex compared to the story given to us in the manga and I actually feel now like I've been enlightened about how the clan actually worked. You've filled all the gaps perfectly and I feel as if you should have been the one writing Itachi's backstory. This fanfiction does not have enough reviews in my opinion, especially with the sheer amont of effort you've put into this. Over 400k? I loved every word.
Not to mention 'A Perception of Reality'. I don't really know how to put the enjoyment I got out of reading it into words. Your dialogue was right, the amount of description was right, it was just utterly perfect!
You are not just the best fanfiction writer I have ever come across on this site; you are, quite literally, the best writer I have come across so far in my life. You trump all those famous authors who have written many best sellers.
To cut to the chase, what I'm trying to say is that you are an awesome role model. You have inspired me by putting out your work to the world.
