Wow. I just stumbled over this story...and I loved it! And, oh my God, I totally fell over laughing when I read the Halloween part. And I'm glad you made it a happy ending. As I began reading that part, I was like "Oh no, here we go. Prepare yourself"...and then Alec stood up and objected. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd never have the guts to do something like that but I'm glad that you made him do it. An all-around wonderful little oneshot.

I like all of Alec's realizations. Nice touch linking them to colors (and lack thereof).

I also like their Halloween costumes- nice.

I hate it when Joshua dies; he's so sweet and supportive and intuitive.
